About the project
Hardy, a company within the Constellation Group, at the time needed to implement the JD Edwards, a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning system. The system would allow the business to streamline processes as part of a Business Improvement Project.
Our role was to lead the Readiness Team, the Change Management aspect of the project, and mentor a staff member in the role of Change Manager so that she was in a position to continue the journey.

Approach & Services
We managed the delivery of the organisational change for the JDE implementation. This meant we delivered the communication of changes towards customers and suppliers. We implemented new processes and gave end user training.
"[...] Thank you for your personal contribution in getting the project completed. The task was sometimes difficult and probably frustrating, but everyone worked as a team to get over the hurdles and meet the 'go live' dates with very little disruption to the business" - David Woods, Managing Director/CEO
The return on these activities was the ability to access information and collate it at company and group levels in a more timely fashion. Furthermore, we improved the management of inventory and production.
At the end of the project the company had:
- centralised functions enabling efficiency gains
- staff able to use the new system productively
- management able to access the information and make more informed decisions
- reorganised processes that streamlined areas such as accounts
receivable and payable
- sales and production gaining efficiencies as well as productivity improvements
